Our centre facilitates admissions to prestigious universities like Bharathiar, Bharathidasan, Alagappa, and Annamalai University for distance education programs. We cater to students across Coimbatore and surrounding areas, offering various undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BA, MA, BSc, MSc, MBA, and MCA. Distance education plays a pivotal role in enabling communities to pursue higher education. In India, the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system has been a crucial mode for providing Higher Education (HE) to diverse sections of society for over six decades under UGC regulations. The School of Distance Education at Bharathiar University has been a key institution in delivering HE through the ODL mode for the past three decades.

SALIENT FEATUTRES

- Provision for an opportunity for the deprived students, by exposing them to every area of the academic environment available.
- Students undergoing regular programme are also permitted to join another ODL/OL programme (dual degree programme).
- Degrees awarded through ODL/OL at the under graduate and post graduate level and post graduate diplomas are in conformity with UGC notification through Open and Distance Learning mode and Online mode (ODL/OL) shall be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level and post graduate diplomas offered through conventional mode (as per UGC notification).
